Front door lock on bluebird...?

So i am the new owner of a 93 bluebird tc2000. Just getting it home and tearing things apart and realized it has a lock on the front doors! Very excited, but did get the keys for it witht he bus. No surprise there so I wasnot worried about it. Until I started looking online for a replacment tumbler for this cam lock.

Anyone got anything?
This is Not the kind with the 90degree arm you use on cabinets, arcade games, ect...
It slides a existing horizontal bar more horizontally... if that makes any sense.
Kind of like the motion of a deadbolt.

Talk to a locksmith. Might even be able to get a key made instead?

Its a cabinet slam lock, like this one:

Not sure if this is the right size for you so measure before you buy!

Thanks, thats the right idea, it gets me closer! but won't work with the stock doo. I'll have to take it back apart and take some photos,...

I don't remember now what the lock looked like on mine. In any case, I removed the lock and took it to a real locksmith (not the key machine in a big-box hardware store). In his stock he found a blank that fit the keyway and produced a key to operate the lock, then made several copies. The fee was quite reasonable and it was much easier than finding a mechanically compatible replacement lock.

if its the original lock, trying calling a place that sells bus parts, a lot of buses used the same key cause drivers would misplace them, other then that, go to a lock smith.

If the lock is the one I think it is, the key that is used is also used by Thomas.

IIRC there are only about five different keys that will fit.

If you take the lock to a locksmith they should be able to get a key to fit in just a few minutes.

It isn't a high security lock. It is the kind of lock to keep honest people honest.

If this thread is still active, what did you figure out? Looks like the 90 degree cam locks all use an LL25 key. If you find a Bluebird dealer, they'll probably give them to you...

Word of caution for anyone with the vertical bar, make sure you clamp the bar in the "locked" position before removing the internals. If it drops into the door, it's hell to get back out.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the upper hinge apart so I can remove the door.

Next option, turn bus upside down and shake...
