Hail Storm or Why I don't want crap on my roof!

Had a big hail storm yesterday. This is why we don't have sky lights, vents and/or air conditioners on top of our roof and why my window screens are inside the bus. Storm hit the long side of the bus (came in from the south west side). I closed the windows on that side but left the windows open about 2" on the lee side. I did not get any water inside the bus from the screened refrigerator vent. That was good. I did worry about a window getting broke. But all was good. It was soft hail and didn't put any dings in the Jeep.It was hard enough to do damage to plastic and chipped paint off of the wood on the food cart.

Guy next to us was sitting on top of his RV duct taping his vent back together last night (in the dark) since it's supposed to rain almost every day this week. Also destroyed his rooftop refrigerator vent.

Hail on the ground. Luckily it was "soft" hail. Still trashed the plastic wind deflectors on the Jeep. I needed to buy new anyway.

That's not grass. It's the leaves from the tree we are sitting under. There isn't any grass in this park, it's all dirt/gravel.

yeah hail last year claimed the vent over the tub in the parents camper (what luck eh!) and my rv was spared. no fridge vent to worry about but i do have a nice 2' dome skylight over the shower (makes showers during daylight hours very nice to btw)
