I read somewhere that Council Person (Richmond, VA I think) thought they were real and wanted them banned. Talk about fail.

I've seen the Glock and AR pics before but not the others. Funny.

That's pretty rich Smitty. It's probably making fun of people like me.

Here's a product of the Winter cagey-ness... think Jack in 'the Shining'.

A bored attempt at strange humour, though I really do pack my cheap, effective, well tuned, Phillipines made 1911 with me near everywhere I go, even sitting on the top of the stool while I shower. It's taken everything I can throw at it, and at just over $500 with a nice tune-up, it's my favorite side arm, and I never have to feel guilty about dragging it through the muck, like I would with a higher end 1911 (think Wilson Combat).

I think of it as my civic duty to own and maintain at least one each of the four gun groups: sidearm, shotgun, hunting rifle, and battle rifle.

That is all.

A role model. Thanks for believing in, and practicing the Second Amendment.

Like I say, my civic duty. To me , there's a lot of truth to the phrase "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns", though I'd change it to criminalized, since I consider myself an outlaw when the need arises... which is more often as time goes by.
I wish there were more old skool outlaws... you know, like the Josey Wales from the books moreso than the movie.
I think we're going the way of the mountain lion or the dinosaur, though.

Pictures of guns scare me.

Hey Timmy, if you're shooting that .50, don't you have to close the bolt?

Ehh... could be.

Nah, not so much into all that, but I believe in feeding and protecting myself. If the need should arise to protect meself and mine against hordes of zombies, I'm probably doomed... I only keep about 2400 rounds max/per stockpiled.
In the event of such nonsense, I'll hopefully be safely stowed away at my mountain retreat. I'll leave the zombie squashing to the young bucks and the fanatics.

I've got .22's up the wazoo. If I see any at WallyWorld, I buy some. I gotta start reloading again.

Re: Helpful for the Hood

Semi-auto has way less recoil than a bolt action and he jammed it. Probably because it wasn't secure. Kinda like limp wristing a Glock.
