A few days ago people started the annual large garbage cleanup. At this time, everyone in town sets their unwanted large items at the curb. After three days of people taking what they want, the town comes along and hauls the rest to the dump.

I liked the looks of this snow blower. However, I was driving my little Honda CRX, not a truck.

So how do you fit a snow blower in a Honda hatch back?

I like shoveling snow, and always have. I posted this here in this thread, because I will likely rebuild the engine and sell this snow blower. But, I may keep it too. I like the way the paint matches my car.

I thought you were about to say the Honda was being put out for garbage pick up. Any more details about that trailer you were using to pick up that Chevy.

They are talking of crushing around 100 buses soon. Most are the good 94 to 96 mechanical engines. 5.9 and 8.3 cummins, Dt 360 and Dt 466's. Also a crap load of cat engines that I don't care for.

I'm seeing what I can do for a deal on a bunch of the Dt466's. I would like to buy around 5 to 10 of them just to have around for future projects.

All the Cummins are spoken for. I only managed to score one 8.3.

99% of these buses are to rusty to convert. However many of them only have 150,000 km or less on the engines.

Nat

I'd love to get my hands on a couple of those DT360's. Nobody wants them.

The trailer is a two, 6000 pound torsion axle, low rider tilt deck.

It's home made, rides about 10 inches from the ground, and uses a permanent mounted 3 ton floor jack on the front to tilt the deck.

My friend Al built in 15 years ago. He sold it to me last summer because he is retiring and selling the company. I paid $4500 for the trailer. I feel it worth every penny.

It's by far the smoothest riding bobcat trailer I have ever pulled.

I will never part with my 87 Honda crx as long as the body is usable. She is at half a million km and still my favorite ride to drive. I like it better than my 3/4 chevy truck, 86 trans am, single wheel one ton ford pick up, ect.

Sorry, Distance will kill any deals with engines unless you are in the western provinces of Canada.

I have devised a way to bring the engines across the border without having to pay duty. What do you think?

There would be no duty on those engines as they were made in the US

There is no duty on anything made in Canada, us, or Mexico.

Take care of that 53 Chevy. I restored a 53 Sedan Delivery with my son. The trim was all stainless. I sold it to my brother for $3000, about half of what I had in it. He sold it to a airplane restorer. Once again restored, it sold. I lost track of it and the pics I had on geocities are gone. I just searched and this could be it:

My son used it in high school in the late 90s. I miss that car, original drivetrain, interior restored to original specs when I had it. I miss that car and many others I had.

I worked a deal on a tilt deck steel bed trailer yesterday. It is similar to yours but not as low. 7k Torkflex axles I think. No power. 82-83 between the fenders.
