Honda EU2000 Generator

I wanted one for a long long time, but coulnd't afford it. The honda EU2000 is extremely light, portable, and fuel efficient. I thought there was a thread just for this geni, but i was unable to find it...

I purchased one of these a few months ago, and just thought i'd give a report on how I like it.

The generator ran for 10 or 11 days straight while i was at burningman. Occasionally it ran out of fuel in the middle of the nite and i didn't bother to fill it up until after sunrise. Total, i burned less than 20 gallons of fuel. I'd estimate about 17 gallons.....

Power was consumed by a small dorm size frige that ran pretty much non-stop due to the extreme temperatures. I also ran a small 110 volt pump to filter water for the jacuzzi, peavey powerd mixer for stereo, battery charger, several floresent lights and tons of rope lighting all nite long, and the occasional dewalt battery charger ect. I dont' know how many watts i averaged, but the generator had a significant load placed on it most of the time.

She's ultra quiet!

I couldn't be happier with this geni. I'd recomend one to almost any skoolie owner. IT's worth the money.

smokes ours as far as efficiency and noise go!

OUr's has a little more "umph," but we're burning probably twice as much fuel.
