Re: How many fulltimers are out there???

The wife and I are talking about part-timing once we get the kids out of the house. The bus now is just for weekend/summer trips since the kids are still in school. Once the kids are on their own then we plan to buy a small piece of land. Put up a shed to house the utilities and whatever overflow of stuff we have. We want the setup so that we have a home base but can easily leave whenever we get the urge.

Re: How many fulltimers are out there???

I have been fulltiming for just over 5 years (minus 10 months when I was fulltiming on my motorcycle... )

I think a lot of the fulltiming lifestyle/logistical/how-to/income questions are addressed on forums like Escapees and various work-from-home and freelance forums, but it could be fun to have a subforum here where people can ask those questions or post their bright ideas.
