I don't know shinola about diesel engines....

but, is this a proper claim from a craigslist ad?

this bus runs great, has a 360 DTA fantastic engine (it puts the legendary 6B Cummins to shame)
on 1993 international/amtran

well, that's someone's opinion. I wouldn't say "puts it to shame" but I'd rather have a DT360. But that's basically old fashioned brand loyalty.
But the DT360 has earned a reputation as a tough engine.

Both great engines.

The 5.9 Cummins is light enough for a pickup truck, the DT360 is not.

DT360 has wet liners so it can be rebuilt in the frame.

DT360 weighs around 400 pounds more than the 5.9 Cummins

Both engines are 5.9 liters.

Both engines can use the P-7100 injection pump.

I concur, it's a good engine, but the advertiser is brand loyal.... Just FYI...
