When I picked it up, I found the original receipt behind the state liscense posted above the front door. The bus had all the bells and whistles. The Pueget Sound school district paid $24,120 in 1968, that's a lot of money back then. It has the hydraulic front door with bush buttons on the left to open and close. When I asked about the dual exhaust in front of the rear tires I was informed they were sanders. Being a flat lander from the Chicago burbs, I said "what are sanders". For the rest of us East of the Rockies, they have sand tanks and with a flip of a switch sand pours out in front of the tires for more traction. Solid bus and very little rust.
