I want to move the drivers seat back a couple of inches...

2002 bluebird 8.1L V8 Gas 39ft.

I can fit fine. drove it home. but not super comfy. want to move the drivers seat back a couple of inches (I am a big critter)

is the seat bolted TO the floor or THROUGH the floor? IE can I unbolt it slide it back a couple inches drill new holes and bolts it back down or is the nuts "built into" the floor and not "through" like the back seats are?

My '97 Bluebird was bolted through the floor ( I *think*).....I've moved mine back a few inches as well. Look underneath and make sure you're not boring into a floor support or similar.....it was pretty close on mine.

On my Eagle, Thomas and Bluebird they were all bolted through the floor.

No worries for me at 5'8" though
