That would be the ultimate conversion! Back roads would be tough tho...clearance issues, tight roads...
Although I have seen these doubles in the city & they have the same turning radius as a single body.
I wonder if it could be titled as an rv?

now that is a great idea! Dual bus engines! very redundant, and plenty of hill climbing power.....you'd need 2 rear axles i think....or perhaps you could just swap an axle from a a semi truck truck that has drive shaft inputs on the front and the back....On a tandem axle truck it would be the axle closes to the front. The drive shaft from the trans connects to the front of the axle, then a driveshaft comes off the back to feed power to the rear axle.

it's a terrible idea...but seems very appealing to me for some reason. it's completely unnecessary, but would be an oddity. The better option is just to put a more powerful engine in a bus.

Re: If someone wanted to drive this......

i didn't realize you meant 2 engines in a bus that hinges in the middle.......that might be more problematic, since the hinges are the weak point in those buses. Adding more hp/torque to the equation is probably more trouble than it' worth.
