what is its GVWR? you may be surprised.. I registered a Bluebird short bus that way previously(ohio).. as its GVWR was under 26,000 lbs.

all I was asked was how much seating capacity did I have in it?

15 and under and they were fine.

the GVWR doesnt change.. it is a rating and not actual weight. it should be a placard on the bus.

it is 'classed' when the bus is built.. your actual weight may change.. but getting a vehicle re-classed is darn near impossible.
