Cannot help you there -- I drive'em, I don't fix'em. But I've watched one replaced, and
it didn't look like rocket surgery.
Millicent The Bus - roof raised two feet, toy-hauler tailgate.

Next time you're in Duluth go hang out at the Voyageur bus barn and pick the brains of the mechanics there. They're pretty sharp guys and have never minded me asking questions.

I'm currently living in Duluth so I might just have to try that. Ever tried backing a bus into a parking spot on one of Duluth's side streets....say 5th St. E? Not fun.

Have you ever noticed the irony in Voyageur running T444E's in all the fullsize conventionals, but all the short buses get DT466E's? I could have sworn I had seen a new Bluebird Vision or two in their fleet. One has to wonder if that C7 Cat can't outrun those T444E's on the hills. Their buses aren't much faster than mine and are a whole lot newer!
Skooling state at a time...
