Just got a 1978 Dodge RV Need to determine engine

Anyone have any easy method to determine engine size. Seller of same, said engine is 440 cu in but 383 cu in is very similar. I have forgotten most of what I used to know.

Class C on a Vandura G3500 Chassis? I have a book that lists the specs (came with mine). I can look tomorrow if you've got a Class C.

Vandura G3500 Chassis?
Vandura = GM
440/383 = Dodge

Pad on the front of the block near the radiator hose. Stamped 'RB' for 440, 'B' for 383.
I've never seen an old Dodge motorhome that didn't have a 440, on the other hand, I've not seen them all.

look at block above the starter, it should be cast right there/ It may be have more digits but it should have 440 or 383 right there

\My friend's 1977 class C had a 318. Some C's had 360's and 400's, many A's had 413's.
