Just because I don't recall ever seeing the answer to this question, I'll ask it: Are the obnoxious "safety" switches on the doors and hatches/vents normally open or normally closed? When you cut away the wires do you have to tape them up so they don't touch anything, or twist them together under a wirenut? Or does it vary bus to bus?

Certainly buses differ in their electrical setup. I think you'll agree, after watching this, that most buses will be similar enough to accomplish the task.
