Low power consumption fridge

Here is a link to a page that I found while searching for info on building a low voltage fridge. There is a small pdf. file that gives details and performance comments on the unit. Also includes a very basic wiring schematic. I could see this working very well in a bus conversion. I would probably put a laminate surface of some sort on the lid and use it for extra counter space as well. Our local Home Depot has several small chest freezers that are very reasonably priced. Might try it out for home use first! ... fits_f.php

What info have you found on building a low voltage fridge?

I was thinking of buying a small 110v fridge then running it off an inverter like this one

I am going to check the RV salvage yards before I buy I figure there will be a bunch of used RV fridges after this years storms.
