Make a trailer from front axles?

Yep, this belongs deep in the "Everything Else" section!
My excuse is that I'm stuck here in the house with a narsty head cold.

Every time I work on Millicent, I trip over the front suspension from a
1971 Ford F250.
Twin I beams, huge disk brakes with eight lug wheels and brand new tires.
There has to be something I can do with this Good Junk, other than haul it
to the recycling yard!
(Of course, I can always use the tires on something.)
I keep thinking I could weld the axles and spindles and make a utility trailer.
Do you suppose these parts are forged, and not cast, so I can weld them safely?
Any fun ideas? Or do YOU have a use for these parts?

How about this, Elliott....take it as is, but just bolt the tie rod end on the drag link to something solid...like the frame. Why weld? They did enough of that at the factory. Heck...maybe you could even rig up a hydraulic cylinder so you could steer the trailer for those tight parking lot manuevers.
