Mileage?

Alright, so I’ve got to ask: what’s your odometer say? Or, what’s the highest you’ve seen? Say what you’ve done to get it there, what type of bus, etc.

My Eagle had a bit over 946k miles on it when I sold it. Still running great.

I have seen a fair number of skoolies with close to 300k miles.

Mine has 140,000 miles and Cummins ISC engine. When looking to buy I don’t think I saw many over 300,000

Mileage?

I am at 340,000+ miles on my 2000 International t444e - and going strong. It seems to be driving better now than when I picked it up over two years ago.

I have had a few parts replaced - but I change the oil / filter every 5,000 - 6,000 miles and the fuel filter when needed - I use fuel additives (diesel 911 - or Howe’s) regularly and that seems to keep engine strong.

I also talk to the engine a lot.

When talking about the engine, hours are a better indicator of use/wear rather than miles. Mine has around 9200 hours which I think is fairly high.

Mine also has the T444E 7.3L V8 diesel engine and an Allison AT545 automatic. It had 173,000 miles on the odometer when I bought it. The bus now has 186,000 miles on it and it has taken me cross country and back with no issues. I get 10 MPG and top speed is 65 MPH but I run at 60 for best economy.

Very little, if any.
