Surgeon says tube comes out in 24-48 hrs. She had a good day, probably walking a bit right now. Had a bath and bedding change. Tough lady.

She's gotta be tough as nails. You got a good one, Don. Glad to hear she's getting better, sir!
Don't let her get TOO active. I was so weakened from losing part of my colon and all that stuff that by the time I went back to school I got a hernia from just walking and being too active too quickly.

Can't wait to see yall back on the road in that beautiful bus yall built!

'Sounds' like her body is starting to resume normal operations. Hope she continues to improve.

Well, we have the tube out plus we have poopage.

When she gets home I will be her caregiver. Seems we live too far away (from what I don't know) for a paid caregiver.. So I'm it. I have to change her dressing 2 times per day plus whatever. It will still be a while.

Now comes the fun part. We need to create a name for Nurse __________.

GO!

"Tango; Nurse Kratchet"

The one from "One flew overs the Cuckoos nest"???

My suggestion is Nurse "Don" You know, like Don Ho ukelele music in the backround...

Glad to hear that Mary is doing better and that you will be there for the both of you in this time of recovery.

Nurse fecal right now...

Yesterday was more walking and other good stuff.

When I return soon I'm hoping more than broth has been at least thought about.

Did some housekeeping and laundry. Here's Spooky waiting for her Mary fix.
