New and old members please...

read and abide by the sites rules, they are posted to help everyone understand and enjoy using this wealth of knowledge known as Skoolie.net

In the realm that is our world or at least a perceived world; there seems to be a lot of hate, disrespect and general meanness that is messing with everyone's mojo

Just because it seems like the media has turned to applying race and hatred to everything, it will not be accepted on this site...period.

Do not talk derogatorily/mean/hurtful about any person, religion or values

On this site we are about BUSES; we are not about

1)what color you are
2)what race you
3)what your sexual or partnerships are
4)what religion you follow

None of that matters; do not come on here and personally attack any member about anything, unless it's bus related (I jest)

Hey Bansil you were stupid and dumb to buy that RE bus = bad and is bashing

Hey Bansil you would of been better off, buying a FE because.... =good criticism

Can you tell the difference?????

If not reread the rules and read this sticky here:

http://www.skoolie.net/forums/f9/ple...nse-10896.html

IF you have nothing nice to say...don't say it, it will make your blood pressure lower and it will not offend fellow builders

Lately there has been alot of bashing of the Jewish faith around the world, people grow up and if you don't like what has been said find another forum to to beotch about it on, we will not accept it here

Same with Muslims; Muslims as a whole are good people, find somewhere else to complain

The whole Black on White or White on black, or brown on red...people leave it elsewhere and stick to Yellow chrome number 5 or whatever it is

The language also, this is a family site so the site has good filters in place for most words, and society has down played certain words, phrases and such to be common place...us old farts are still offended at some of them

Also there has been some concerns about using the search feature, yes it isn't the best feature, so use google to search with

AND PLEASE AT LEAST READ THE FIRST PAGE OR TWO BEFORE ASKING A QUESTION,

if really makes it hard to respond when there are 2 or 3 same topics at the same time

(disclaimer: I am not a hippy, and have no bad feelings toward any I know or will meet, smile people and enjoy life and family)

Could you make this into an audio file so I can listen to you read it to me as I drive down the road?

And to the best of my knowlodge, no buses came equipt with guns-nor is it a requirement to install one. I'm sure there are other sites that would love to hear about your collection-or your right to bear arms.

Ugh collection, is this towards me? I never pushed an agenda on anyone, I never hurt anyone's personal feelings by degrading them.

I post a thread about things I like and others like, if you like the subject comment positive, if you don't like it ignore it

There are things I don't like; I do my best to ignore them, I don't go out of my way to maliciously belittle or hurt an individual, if I realize that I have I will man up and say "I'm sorry I offended you and will respect your feelings moving forward"

So sorry if I offended you in my build thread or the thread I did about what I did this weekend, I can remove my target build thread if that will make this better,

Let me know

And opus read it as captn. Kirk...

No no no-this wasn't meant for anyone in paticular. I never even saw you post anything about them. I saw the target thingies you made a while back-pretty cool.
Post Sandy Hook, this site could have have been a NRA site to the casual observer. REAL bad. Bad enough we lost good people. I even stepped away for 6 months. There were more 2nd amendment rights threads than roof-raise discussions.
"I went target shooting today."--ok
" It's not the guns fault there was a nut loose with 100 rounds of ammo-its the system. Its my RIGHT to be armed...etc." Not ok

Okay sorry about that, that is actually a very good example of me almost being rude and derogatory

Here...[internet beer]

I actually had someone tell almost the same thing after I bumped the flag because I can video, I apologize for coming off rude like that.

I will leave my comment because it shows exactly what I was referring to, except we all handled it like grownups

So, Alf why not?

So...mm..what's next topic?

I know, off to everything else....

I don't like beer and to casually pass internet beer around so freely shows a gross lack of discipline and I am offended....

remember in grade school, when you brought something for someone, you had to bring enough for the whole class???

Thanks Bansil. As a newbie watching the name calling, racism, and some misogyny ramping up, I was really starting to wonder if things were degenerating into PirateSkoolie4x4 territory, and whether the mods were OK with that. Very glad to see a couple mods stepping in and doing some clarifying.

I have a flag here in my yard that's on the wanted list and I don't know what to do with it.

Seemed friendly enough!
