This thing ain't a skookie, but it sure is a nice city bus conversion job. I spotted this guy on rv.net and clicked the link to these pictures of his bus. I'm impressed!!

nice...very nice... my stepmon and dad have 5th wheel trailers (just different ones over the years) that look that nice...I think of them when I brain storm what I want to do to my bus.

I talked with AyJay quite a bit a few weeks ago. Before I bought the Thomas I was considering an RTS and since his was one of the nicest I'd seen I contacted him. Very nice gentleman.

He didn't do the conversion (at least not the part you see); he bought it with the woodwork and interior done (by the previous owner) but the fellow was not an electrcian or plumber or mechanically inclined in any way so AyJay had to finsih out all the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems (sounds like that was as much or more work than the part that had been done!).

I still think about the room I could have gotten with the 102" wide, 40' long version of the RTS but man, they sure seem complex as compared to the school buses. In the long run I'm glad I found the Thomas; for our purposes it's going to make a better conversion for us.

Nice looking machine. Very well thought out and executed. However that looks like a carpenter did all the wood work. Mucho $$$$ also. It looks just like a comercial rv, which kind of defeats the fun of a converted school bus with all the excentric charm that goes along with them all.
