Oil change dt466e

The oil doesn't seem to be all coming out. Is there something I'm missing?

IDK, how much came out?
Should be around 6 gallons +/-
Did you take off the oil cap and the filter? My filter looks like it holds the better part of a gallon.

Around 3 gallons. I found a leak at the oil pan. I'm thinking it was real low. Number 2 lower end bearing is bad. Now i got that to figure out.

Yeah. It could be worse. I can handle a bearing as long as i can find one at a decent price. Nothing else seems to be damaged.

So, after cleaning with brake cleaner and assessing in the morning light, the pick up tube was puahed up. It knocked the magnet loose and it stuck where it was hitting the piston bolts that hold the mason bearing on. So the shavings were just the magnet getting mangled. They knocked loose one of the bolts that hold the mason bearing in. After torquing back to specs it didn't move anymore. I inspected the bearing and it didn't have even a scratch. So, its back together and writing for the gallery to set up. Ill pour oil in and we will see what happens.

I bottomed out the oil pan and dented the uptake tube. That's how all the trouble began. And i lost 6 gallons of oil. I got so lucky. I even examined the oil pan after our happened. It didn't leak. Delayed reaction.
