The nursery my buddy owns runs a few old Trucksters!

Now If I can sell this Snapper, I'll have opened up a bit of room in my cramped garage!

Got a call from a nice old man yesterday. Turns out he won the other Sarlo mower auction up in Moultrie Ga. He's in Ocala and the folks in Moultrie gave him my number to see if I could pick up his mower monday when I'm getting mine. Cool old dude! He's paying for our gas! So cool how that worked out!

And I finally picked up a nice sprayer. This is a crucial item I've been missing.

Won another auction for a Sarlo diesel mower in Moultrie Ga. I LOVE Moultrie. Good old small southern town charm, for sure. Great people!

Shaun gave me a ride in his spiffy new Z71. How/why anyone could ever pay fifty grand for a regular pickup truck is beyond me. I like his old 2002 so much better. But its his truck, he loves it, and he loves driving up to Moultrie with me!

Beautiful Adel Ga!

The seats in that 71 of shauns are HORRIBLE. The 02 he sold off to buy the 17' was much more comfy and IMO a way better truck.

I and my friend who has a 15 like mine totally concur in the seats!! He had an 05 LS, I had an 01 LS, seats were super comfy and his after 10 years showed no wear.. my 15 driver seat already has wear crinkles in the fabric. I cover the seat anytime I'm going to be messy.. I do like my tech and since I got a V6, getting 24 mpg to haul my trans from Florida to Ohio was nice. My old 6.0 woulda got 17.
The AC in the new ones sucks
Most likely when my lease goes up next year I'm going to bid on and find an older van, maybe a 4x4 with a gas 6.0,
Christopher

Yeah, shaun runs his z71's ac on BLAST to try and cool that thing. The 02 had freezing air.
Just like my subaru. Horrible seats and virtually non-working wimpy ac.

On the subject of mowers- sold my Snapper to a very happy buyer from jacksonville this weekend. As I was selling it and we were talking it dawned on me how clean and nice I keep my stuff! He was a snapper guy and apparently I had the world's best kept snapper for sale.

im totally about keeping stuff clean and nice.. when I bought my house in 03. I was given a mower as a house-warming gift.. still starts on the first oull every time.. only isue is that the wheels on it are getting all wobbly and to replace the rear wheels(rear self propel) is crazy expensive as since sears is basically going uinder they are discontinuing alot of their mower parts for craftsman.

im in total believer if you keep stuff nice then it will be nicer to you and work when you need it to.. nothing worse than going to use a tool and having to fix the tool before you can do the job.

some of the landsacpe companies around here beat the &*(^ out of their equipment.. and then just store it in winter under a tarp.. which up here just invites moisture and rust with all the rain / snow ohio gets in winter.

I've gotten compliments from several customers about my nice, clean, new looking tools.
My string trimmer is at least 10 years old! The new Tanaka is working pretty well, though. Nice to have backups!

Running? sucker starts on the first pull every time! Seems like its more or less new!
I'm using it a little, but its mostly just here because I can't resist a good deal.
