Public Surplus concerns!!
Mornin' Everyone,
I picked up my tablet this morning to look at auctions I have been watching.
I was quite shocked to see active bids under "My Stuff" that I had not bid on.
After poking around a bit I found that I was logged in as someone else. I am able to access all of their account info!!
PS tech support claims that the other user must have logged in using my tablet.
The other user is in Florida. I am in Washington State. My tablet has not left my personal control in several months.
This concerns me. If I am looking at someone else's account and able to place bids etc. then what are the chances that others may gain access to my account or yours???
Anyone else ever seen this happen?

Not on PS, but I've had some weird experiences with ebay and items showing up in my cart that I didn't order. Or did I order that pink sweater in a size 8? With once click ordering, that's a real concern.

There were some issues like that related to sites using Cloudflare a little while ago, but I would think they had it all figured out by now. More likely they have some very basic single factor cookie for sessions and you happened to collide with that other user. Whatever it is, it's not cool at all.

So , when exactly isn't a GUID a GUID???? (Globally Unique Identifier)
That is wild. Sounds like you know who is hacking your computer and he drives a Honda Fit.
Let's get him.

Well, I told you to mail-order a bride that doesn't read, like I have. She just smiles and nods as she cooks.
