Hello, New to the forum. I have an opportunity to pick up a 1973 Loadstar 1700. It has a 345ci engine. What would be the rated HP for this truck. It has the 2 speed rear with special air suspension. I'd like to shorten the frame so I can pull my tag along trailer with a load of 9 ton. I have a '54 Ford with the Lincoln 317ci but it can't quite cut the load.
Any input would be great.
