Although this prototype shows a Lockheed Martin Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, the Defense Department has awarded the initial contract to produce the vehicle to Wisconsin-based Oshkosh Corp

Sweet units.

I'm glad my fellow gunner is now out of the line of fire.

Too many of my old army friends never came back from over seas due to the lack of protection.

This is a plated bradley the ARMY has had for years. The CORPS has them also. They are called MRAP ( mine resistant ambush protected ) for the CORP and just Bradley fighting vehicle for the ARMY.
The MARINES ALWAYS get the hand me downs when the ARMY get's something new!
The ARMY has something better and that is the only reason the MARINES have it.
Sorry ex-marine with a brother that was ARMY?
We compared gear every time we met?
My new gas mask was the 1 they got rid of my new carbine that was broke In was the 1 that they just got rid of?
The CORPS does the best work with hand me downs and probably would not know what to do with something NEW. I have several friends that hate that TIN CAN.

Actually Nat, I think the Army Guard gets their stuff even after Canadian Forces. My old Army Guard unit was still running around in 80s vintage 1008s and 1009s and had quite a number of 5 tons that had "Kaiser-Willy's XM-8xx" data plates in service, prior to our deployment to Iraq 10 years ago

I've been active duty AF, Army Guard (42ID), and Air Guard...and my last unit in the Air Guard received 24 brand new M-1165A3s, M-1152s and 1165s. It's nice to be a brand new ASOS sometimes.
