Re: Replacing air hoses
yeah man, I had an issue when my rear air lines rubbed on my driveshaft and wore straight through it. Was headed down east from the Eisenhower tunnel on I-70. The tunnels at about 11,000 ft, for the next 6,000 vertical ft I was a little worried since I did have proper brake function but when I would press the pedal I would lose a lot of air. You start noticing runaway truck ramps a lot more after that. I was worried about loosing too much air and having the parking brake come on and cooking the drums. About 500 miles later I replaced the line at a truck stop. After Denver its all flat anyway, lol.
