Roadside assistance.
I talked to AAA about roadside assistance. They said that they covered motor homes but not buses. So I said my bus is registered as a MH. The lady then said whoever comes out to you would refuse to provide service when they see it is a bus! So I was wondering what everyone on here has for break down cover?

I normally repair all my vehicles myself including my motorcycle but there is always going to be a situation that is beyond my capabilities or just too dangerous to attempt at the side of the road. I do have the cummins 5.9 24valve with the dreaded lift pump that can take out the injection pump so I always have that in the back of my mind! It may never happen but I am the type of person that worries about things that may never happen! It's a curse I guess but we are all different. My wife never seems to worry about anything! Preventative maintenance is probably your best bet. Just wondering what other people do.

i have roadside assistance through my insurance... its good specifically for a heavy tow to the nearest repairshop and/or jumpstart/lockout service.
it was only a few dollars a month.... well worth it, as i am certain i will use this service.

state farm - most of my insurance is with them...house and cars.
the bus has never been an issue.... liability was way cheap, my moped costs more to insure than the bus.

I have coach net and CAA/rv, I told both of them that I had a converted school bus , both said its ok as long as its self contained, meaning its a motorhome. Haven't used them for my bus, but I have used them for my truck.
