Roof raise in Canada

Has anyone done a roof raise in Canada?

Are there rules and regulations you need to follow besides height restrictions?

I'm doing my own research but nowhere in transport canadas documents does it specifically say (that I can find)

any and all info is great thanks!!

as far as I'm aware it has to pass inspection - scuttlebutt has it that roof raises and roof decks are frowned upon, but I've seen nothing official about that - where are you from?

Which province are you in?

BC max height without permit is 13' 7"

How Wide? How Long? How High? | DriveSmartBC

Keep in mind that residential clearances can be lower (phones lines and such)

Ahh yes, may be best to ask the person who would be doing the inspection first?

is there a way to tag @scuttlebutt to see what he says? hahaha!

Yes!

I'm out in Sasky, i'm not too worried about the height parametres as I can find those. I'm more so wondering about if its considered "legal" or if there are any reasons why it wouldn't pass. Even if you make it even more structurally sound than the original bus!

hmmmmm
