S1600 more power

I have been fixing up my S1600 the last few weeks. When I had the air cleaner off I noticed it had a restrictor plate welded in the bottom of the air cleaner that reduced the surface area by about half. I drilled out the spot welds and removed it. When I took the truck out for a ride it had much more power. I just went from 8.25" x 20" tires to 11R22.5's and even with the higher gearing the truck can run up to the governor on inclines that had it choking before. Next up is to advance the pump timing and turn up the fuel a little and maybe a less restrictive muffler.
