Seashore Trolley Museum (Maine) - Transit Day 2011

I've been asked to pass along some info about Transit Day at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME. The Museum has a large collection of antique buses, which will be on display Saturday, October 8th. Their collection, while mostly city transit buses, includes a 72 Crown Supercoach school bus. There may be other skoolies there as well (one of the organizers works for a Blue Bird dealer). Anyone with buses of their own is welcome to bring them to display. It's also a good networking opportunity if you're looking to meet other bus nuts or need mechanical advice.

The museum looks neat. Gonna have to put it on our.. "If we ever get there we gotta see..." List.

The museum is cool. I remember going there as a kid and we went again a couple years ago. The different designs of the trolleys are amazing. This museum has been in existance so long and is so well known they have trolleys from around the world.
