Question Strange anomaly with temp light.

This hasn't happened before, and it seems strange. Maybe someone could shed some light on this...

I start the bus and let the air brakes get up to pressure. Normally, the beep goes off, but recently it just kept going. The pressure is good, but the strange part is the temp light lights and stays on (prompting the beeping).

The temp gauge is fine and on the low side. Stranger still is when I idle up, or take off, the beeping and light go off... all is good, until I stop at a light. The light comes on and the (now annoying) beep starts.

When I take off, the light goes off and beeping stops... until the next stop (idle).

Any ideas on this? I thought maybe a bad sensor? Thank you for any thoughts or wisdom.

- Lewis.

is it possible that the temp light doubles as a low coolant sensor? or is wired in wrong and an oil pressue issue exists?

Solved! Yes. The sensor on the cylindrical tank was not filled up enough. Not sure why higher rpms would stop it? Maybe the coolant bubbled the coolant over the sensor?

Thanks for the feedback!
