Strange Question

Okay, I just bought another bus and I can't find the headlight dimmer switch. It's a 27 passenger, 1984 International Navistar S1700, with a D-150 diesel engine. When I turn the lights on the high beam indicator light says the lights are on bright but danged if I can find the dimmer switch.
I suppose it could have been removed or it could just be I'm getting blind and senile. Any help about the location of the switch or other data on the bus in general would be appreciated.

Thanks!

the skoolies i've seen have the dimmer switch on the floorboard to the left of the brake pedal. Same location as a 1975 ford pickup truck.

Thanks guys. That's where I thought it should be, and where it is on my larger bus, but it's gone missing on the new one. I suspect it was removed for some reason though I can't imagine why. Guess I'll just have to find the wires and install another one.

Thanks for the help!

It's not on the turn-signal stalk, is it? Originally it would have had a floor switch, but the column may have been swapped.
