We've been tailgating with these guys. They've been adding stuff every year to it. They already have a good start. http://www.ag-spirit.com It was a Warp Tour roadie bus at one time. Mine MIGHT make it's inagural game this year.

What are is that texture on their black walls? Did they cover the plywood with something or is it just from brush on paint?

From what I remember, I think it's just the plywood/particle board.

Who is up for the Iowa State - Nebraska game next weekend? Should be a pretty good time and a 7pm kickoff should leave plenty of time for a proper tailgate. I would imagine the crowd this game usually brings will require Friday night arrival in VetMed. Hopefully we will see you all up there.

Yea, I don't know if you were there for the UNI game but we showed up half an hour before the game started and ended up being one of the last to get into the lot. Apparently to get into that front section at that game you had to show up by 7AM, which was 11 hours before the game.

If your going to be there Friday night I might get the crew together and join you.

I was wondering where you and your crew were at Steve. Our rig went over to Iowa City for the Ohio State game but my brother and I came up for tailgating for a couple hours before the game but had to be in Des Moines for a meeting at 6pm so we did not stay up too long. The lots were definitely full and apparently the game was too. I am still waiting on confirmations from the rest of the crew on whether we leave Friday or very early Saturday, I still would prefer Friday to get into the top section of the lot but I am waiting on a few confirmations. I may also have a large cube van with me and possibly a converted VW Micro Bus.
I have never stayed in Vet Med pregame night; is it fun, or do we park and head to the bar?
I will have more information tomorrow.

It depends on which game it is. Basically its just like being in the tailgating lot itself. People will start up their grills, and you are allowed to drink out there.

Wow it was cold on Saturday. There is a picture of my bus in the Iowa State Daily today. I had a bunch of firewood with me so we had fire going in a an extra grill which made it so much better.
