Re: Tapping your cell phone (for those who claim "impossible")
Phone not in use = Phone is on, just not in a call.
Remember, if your phone starts acting weird, you can always take it into the store you got it from and have them backup your phone numbers and programs from the phone, wipe the memory, and reinstall the stuff. Or you can have them print out your numbers for you and just wipe the memory on the phone.
If you dont want to go to the store, go into the password protected settings on your phone, you should have set the password yourself, and just tell the phone to wipe its memory for programs or reset to factory default. It will purge everything in memory for that section or the entire phone and restore to an original "Out of the box" state.
If your extremely paranoid, just yank the battery. Count to thirty, and then do what you want. Your phone is now a paperweight till you put the battery back in.
