the ax is gone!

When did school buses stop carrying an Ax along with all the other safety stuff?

I remember every bus I rode on when I was just a sprout had an ax, not an ax like I used to split wood for the fire, but an red ax that looked like it had never been touched by a mortals hand.

The first bus wreck I was in Lola the bus driver skillfully smashed out a rear window so we could scamper out and walk to the fish hatchery and sit in Dudley's living room and wait for out folks to come get us and get us patched up.

none of the buses I see any more have an ax!

the buses I rode in had a place for the beloved ax to ride.

What is up with that?

I think they did away with the axes when that one bus driver went postal and chopped up 13 or 14 kids with a school supplied ax. After that, NO MORE AXES!

I guess we need to not let the post office people drive the God dammed school buses!! leave the ax where it should be.

leave them to delivering the mail for Christs sake!

Now you got me afraid to order any more $hit off the shopping channel.

Hopefully my mail lady won't try to chop me up ( I gave her chocolates for Christmas & she left me a nice thank you note).

I think from now on, just in case, I won't answer the door when she comes.

Postal workers are just good, hard working Americans. If they were crazy, they would forever be pulling stupid stunts like landing a gyrocopter on the lawn of the US Capitol building.

Oh, wait . . . .

My previous neighbor was retired postal worker and retired military. He used to sit in his garage and watch my house and everything I did. He showed me the little slits he cut in his garage doors so he could keep watch with the doors shut. You bet I was glad when he moved out! He bought that house with a pool too but he couldn't swim. He said it was so the kids in the neighborhood could use it. I told my kids to stay away from that weirdo!
