[QUOTE=bread519;159028]There another one up too. Has the 210hp version tho. But still has all the goodies[/QUOTE
The 210 hp one also has less storage and lower headroom.

Yeah, don't know the spoiler... My 88 k5 blazer stayed clean with spoiler! My suburbans without spoilers get filthy!
I guess the soccer moms told GM they didn't like the spoiler... It made them drive too fast

Man I wanna see one of us on this site get this bus.
I tried throwing a few hundred more at it but someone's simply got more money than me. I'm gonna have to tap out on this one. Its a shame.
I'd start all over on my whole bus thing just to start out with THIS bus.

if I were looking for a rocky mountain travelling long bus its the one Id snatch..

I wouldnt mind a second bus but with me driving all over cities no way a 40 footer would happen..

as for the post that talked about the maxxforce 7 and Maxxforce DT...
the maxxforce 7 was a short-lived engine that was terrible.. it was a V-8 electronic diesel... read about the failures on schoolbusfleet.. I wont say its as bad as a VT-365 but its no prize to take home..

the Maxxforce DT was a newer name for the DT-466E with the later emission revs on it.. I think 2015 was its last year or maybe 2014...

as for this bus i thought all the mechanical DT-466's were gone by 1994 or 1995... sure this isnt a DT-466E?

Mechanical injection was being sold till 98 on a few. I checked. Its an NGD DT466 with 250 hp.
Looks like an E because it has the later style intake that's built into the valve cover. But its got mechanical injection. The later, high mount pump.
Last of the really great buses here. Its got all the goodies.

It's going to be a big shame if that bus goes to an exporter to be shipped overseas

Is the skoolie movement too far along now to routinely get great buses for little money?
