Nope. Today is December 21. Today is the shortest day of the year. It is called the winter solstice. Some people celebrate it. "Google" it. We realized that we tended to have a bonfire every year on Dec 21. At first it was unintentional and then the kids started looking forward to it. Later I found out that alot of folks light a fire or candle and keep it burning all day on the 21st. SO it is just something I do and we always say Happy Winter Solstice... one of my daughters had wanted to an astronomer... now she lives near the Very Large Array... and Roswell!
