Towing our car with a Skoolie?

So since our bus is expected to be the largest possible, 40ft I think, is there a restriction for towing our car behind?

I am not sure if you can still tow a trailer/car carrier if your bus is that big. I am pretty sure I have seen full size Class A's do it but wasn't sure if skoolies were different.

Thanks for the links.

From reading a few, it appears that overall length isn't an issue unless possibly you stay permanent in one state. Then you need to consider the state laws.

Weight is an issue as it relates to the general bus engine/tranny power.

Google is your friend

I would recommend that you look for 8.3 or DT466 powered buses with MT643, MD3060 or 2000 series transmission if you are going to tow.

The 5.9 & T444 are great motors but a bit under powered for a full size bus. Add a toad and you may be really disapointed with the smaller motors.
