...add the dollar difference and shipping etc. to this country and it takes a big chunk out of a 300 dollar bill.

My "ASS" was a rusty/chrome ornament I got for 99 cents off e-bay, 20 bucks for shipping and a friend sand blasted and powder coated it for free....21 bucks was a little easier on the pocket book.

That ornament of yours is really cool.

They've got one like it online with led eyes!

AWESOME song!!!!!!!!!!!
Anybody here old enough to remember the Great Banana Switch in the '60s? Up until then, banana growers produced a variant called Gros Michel ("Big Mike") but its susceptibility to disease and fungal infections forced the industry to switch to the Cavendish variety that you find in stores today. My parents are in their 80s and love bananas but they have no awareness of this ever having happened.

Apparently this is going to happen again in a few years, as disease control becomes too expensive and difficult for the Cavendish variety. And then we will suddenly get a new strain of banana in stores.

A traditional Irish take on a truckin song. By the greatest Irish band of all time, the Dubliners.

Since we're randomly posting videos now () I thought I would post this classic Stones tune since I just read an interesting story about it:

At 1:38 at the start of the bridge, you can hear a clicking in the background that sounds like claves. The story was that Mick Jagger was in Los Angeles recording some overdubs for the song at a studio late at night, and they had left the front door unlocked. Two policemen noticed the unlocked door and came in to investigate; they came into the studio as Mick was singing with a cloud of pot smoke around his head.

To distract them while somebody in their entourage skedaddled with the drug stash, Stones manager Andrew Oldham borrowed the cops' nightsticks and used them to record the clicking you can hear in the bridge. The cops went on their way starstruck and Jagger and Oldham decided to keep the sound in the final mix.
