What battery for my bus?

Hi, not much of a genius here; I have a 71 passenger ic-fe and it's a 2001; there are two choices for a battery I can find: 650 cca and a 925 CCA. Does anyone know if it matters which battery I choose?

Go with the biggest battery you can get.
Minimum your 925 cca, preferably over 1000.
Don't buy a walmart or Costco battery. Get an interstate or comparable.
I have 1800 cca. In my bus, living in Canada I'm a firm believer that you should always stuff as much battery as possible into what ever you plan to drive.

Costco are Interstate plus 3 year full replacement warranty. Walmart not so much.

Really? I didn't think they were anymore.
Guess I can save some money......
That being said, the interstate ones will still be better.
An example:
Predator and Champion generators are made in the same factory, the champion ones are way better.

That may be but I will take the Costco no questions asked return policy over any other battery. My diesel Excursion batteries have been starting slower over the last month. I will take the pair in and exchange for 2 new batteries.

If you have the space, one single 8D at 1600 CCA.

It will be the last battery you ever buy. No other battery comes even close.

Choosing too small of battery will kill it in short order due to the massive drain when starting the big diesel engine.

And make sure you have a battery disconnect switch.

I just realized that I put a little red thumbs down in one of my pervious posts.

My two group 31's are doing really well. the Rural King had them on sale for 70 bucks.
Bus just sat for a month and today I started it up and ran it a half an hour. Starts right up immediately every time even after a month or two.
