Re: When They Come For My Bus
I would suggest this contempt be aimed higher: To the MultiNational Corporations and the Global Cabal of banking and to those installed congressman and Senators both sides of the aisle.
it's far too easy, and enjoyable and cathartic, to look around you and point to whatever pain you feel, in the faces of what you determine are takers: The real takers are faceless: They are the ones who pay no tax, and yet have the privilege of owning this country as it's own personal Market Place. I know this: If I want a territory or a franchise in this country I need to pay for it, I need to pay for my franchise.
The amount of wealth extracted from you and I by The usurious banking system: That fosters all the risk and costs and losses on our backs, but gladly pockets and off-shores the profits: Throw in a few wars predicated on Lies for several trillion dollars, throw in the bail-out of the largest banks on Wall Street who's speculation vanished half the wealth, you wealth on the planet.
And then refer to Social Security as an entitlement. I believe Health care should be a birthright in this Nation. I don't believe in Obamacare, because every successful effective Health Care system in this world is not for profit. The focus on welfare recipients, food stamp recipients, many of them the elderly, many of them the families of our vets, many of them folks who lost their pensions, or lost their 401K's the result of the criminal speculations of the now rewarded banks is simply irresponsible for someone who is looking at the big picture. For someone who wants to recognize the real forces that use this Nation, as a StoreFront, write the policies of this Nation, and control the lapdog Media to avert their scrutiny to the real nest of vipers, and foment and create the paper tigers so easily scapegoated. So funny, ironic, so strange to look at an actual human being, and determine they aren't giving enough, contributing enough. And completely ignore these giant entities, whose thefts are in the trillions, and are in part responsible, for the economic hardships many of these "takers" are experiencing. How the greedy profit takers and their lobbies, adamantly refuse a raise in the minimum wage, while socking away obscene profits: A woman working a 40 hour week and not having a "living wage"? And then to add insult to injury calling them a taker, a thief, a non contributing member of this society. I guess the question is. Do we or don't we have a responsibility to one another. And importantly, don't we have a duty and responsibility to point our finger at the real criminals?
I come from no country, from no city, no tribe. I am the son of the road... all tongues and all prayers belong to me. But I belong to none of them.
