When They Come For My Bus

I try and steer clear of this kind of post, but here goes, cause I have had itÖ

Here in the Peoples Republic of California, everyone is welcome, legal or not, just ask the Governor. In a Socialist State, everyone gets the same, even if they did not work for it. So I have to ask myself, is BC going to be divided up eventually between the "wanter's" because of my hard work? Is someone else going to get what I have just because they want it?

So friggin tired of some that just want, want, want, and donít want to work, work, work.

Everyone here on this forum has put so much effort into their dream with a lot of muscle, vision, and tenacity. It has taken me nine years to realize my dream. Iím not rich, I work hard, and I make improvements when my budget can let me do so. I canít order the best, but I can do the best with what I have. And like all of you, I did it with my own hands, because my hands were working, not expecting a hand-out.

I give to those who are truly needy, but just because you want it, donít expect me to give it. Get off your lazy butt and go do what we have done. .. get a job. Oh, and when you get my bus, be sure that you calibrate your hand-out checks for $4.25 per gallon of diesel, or youíll just sit there and watch the tires rot. We need those high fuel taxes here to provide for all the free cell phones and stuff.

Ok, now I feel better and I hope I have not offended. But I did VOTE today, itís my only recourse. I'm happy that I can enjoy it now before it is taken away.

I agree 100% on this one, we have the same problems here in Canada ( don't get me started on it)

Re: When They Come For My Bus

If everyone who worked (the providers) would leave the state of CA and leave all the gimmes there, then maybe the state would understand what they are doing. I have never seen the huge draw of CA. But I grew up on the beaches of FL and in the mountains of NC. Between the two places, we had it all.

If you don't like where you currently live, find another state to live in. There's 49 more and you can drive to 48 of them!

Ah, easy to say----but, as you know, very much more difficult to do. I'll have to go with BC and vote. That doesn't mean I have to like it the way it is. Jack

Re: When They Come For My Bus

Life ain't like clicking your ruby heels together and wishing you were in Kansas. Moving means dumping on my responsibilities to my 83 year old mother and the rest of the family...I'll stay for the fight... and my vote does give me the right to bitch.

It most certainly does! And I will be voting on Tuesday!

I'm the "bad one" so my mother doesn't want me anywhere near her (I've also been "cut out of the will" like I care... she has odd values and control over others is very important to her). Oddly enough I found out this weekend that one of the "good ones" apparently killed her cat (ether accidently or deliberately... knowing my druggie sister, I think it was deliberate).

I'm bad. I'm bad. I'm bad.... Do my "little uptight white boy" dance and sing "I'm bad. I'm bad. I'm bad!"
