Where to find a TC2000 in the southeast?

After asking some questions here, and reading pretty well the whole site and then some, I think a Bluebird TC2000 with the 5.9 Turbo is the bus for me.

Where do I start looking to find one in the southeast? My home state, NC does not use the TC2000, so none at state surplus. I've found some at taylorbus.com but know nothing of the company, and need more price comparisons.

Surely there is a great place I haven't found yet?

I got mine from http://www.floridachurchbus.com

Greg is a really good guy IMHO and I was happy with the bus and the price. He will deliver to you for a very reasonable price.

I know it's a drive, but you can check with United Truck Body where I bought my bus. They have a somewhat outdated listing on their website, but it would give you an idea. TC2000's are quite common up here.

http://www.unitedtruckbody.com

Actually, my bus is still listed on there As a side note...those prices are hardly concrete. Mine is listed at $2000....when I asked him how much it was he said $1250 without me even TRYING to haggle.

That Thomas THRE they have there is to die for....96 passenger, air brakes, ISC Cummins, MT643 tranny......makes my mouth water.

One other option is http://firststudentinc.com but there buses seem to be in lesser shape. I'm fairly certain you aren't going to find one with much tread on the tires ot fuel in the tank from them.

I know in the minneapolis mn area that the first student guys move their old stuff to one location where they tend to sit until sold. And while they sit the near by first student shops will tend to go over there and snatch parts to repair another bus that is still in use. It tends to happen when they need the part and can't get it for a week or two.

I can't imagine why other locations would be any different.

I see there are a couple tc's listed on http://www.publicsurplus.com in the middle of michigan. I also saw a few 1995 thomas vistas that they say have the dt466.
