I seems I was wrong on the manufacturer. it would appear to be Classic American Trolley by Supreme Corporation. seemingly also known as Specialty Vehicles.

http://www.specialtyvehicles.com/os/...an-trolley.pdf

The last page gives specs on the rear engine ones.

Since they are from the Michiana Interurban program I think they would still go highway speed.

Why Not Build This?

Well I found out why. I don't know anyone gonna spend the money on windows.

This article
The Interurban Trolley Welcomes New Trolley Buses | PRESS RELEASE — Freedman Seating Company

Said the windows are made by Hehr International. I called their plant in Indiana a few days ago and their sales was closed for the holidays.

I got back a hold of them today. Sales said I would need to order 100,000 windows from them a year to buy direct or I could talk to their distributor; Parkin Accessories.

So I called Parkin.

That guy basically said insulated 38" high 24" wide, they were $500 apiece, before shipping.

I count 10 a side or $10,000 (both) not including the front.

Whats wrong with just using the windows that are on there?
Or if they were damaged just replacing them with something similar?

You didn't follow the whole thread. that trolley is for sale in South Bend , IN on govdeals.com there are 3 for sale. With a day left top bid so far is $3000

It is to far away for me to get inspected so I am not bidding.

But I really liked the look and wanted to see how much they would be for a conversion after a roof raise for probably just the front half living room.

I found out.
