window fixes

I have a 1991 Thomas with the plastic pulls to release the window. Of course they break very easy. Does any one have a fix for the broken ones that does not involve removing the window or have an idea where to buy the releases and maybe some that are not plastic.

Tabs hard/easy to fix?

I haven't really taken a good look at the mechanics of the window plastic tabs, but how hard/easy are they to replace (1998 Crown by Carpenter)? I have a broken one on one of my windows too, as as of right now, just don't use that window. If its an easy fix, I'd love to be able to use it...

Thanks!!

alot of those parts are still made, I was amazed to find so many out there, even for older busses... I think they are replaceable without taking the whole window out of the bus.. some of the parts sites have exploded views of bus windows..

Thanks, Cadillackid! I'll check them out and see what I can find. I definitely would be thrilled if I don't have to take a window out....
