Worked on the bus today....
Pulled out the windows to re-install the cove over the windows (Cove was removed because we're adding a couple of speakers in the ceiling for the "car" stereo... it takes 4 speakers and I only had 3 all total.. so the far rear speaker got moved up to the front and I have to buy one more), scraped butyl goo off some of the window openings to paint. Discovered the Rust Stop enamel from ACE is very thin. So I'm using it without thinning it down (and I'm using a paintbrush!). I have also discovered that I not only hate silicone (got a couple of windows with that on them) but I also hate butyl goo! It took a full day last week to clean up one window. But now the aluminum frame of the window is all shiny and butyl-free.
