You know you are a bus nut...

You know you are a bus nut when….
By J P Farr
You like the idea of taking 2 parking spaces.
You think of MCI as a bus not a phone company..
You prefer the hiway view from up high..
You have camped at a majot chain store..
You can spot a bus conversion on the road from 5 miles away…
You can tell the bus make and model from miles away..
You enjoy talking about buses, all buses..
You catch up to other buses on the freeway, then stare..
You view the Bus Conversion Convention as a national holiday..
You check the RV parks for any buses..
You have a dream of being a full timer, at least for a while..
You don’t mind the smell of diesel smoke..
You are always looking for new ideas about improving your bus…..

You know you are a bus nut when,

The first website you visit in the morning is skoolie.net
You look for any excuse to take your bus instead of driving your car
You would rather sleep in your bed in the bus than your bed at home
your bus is your home

I am sure others will have more....

We take up more that two spaces!

Doesn't everyone?

It's called "wallydocking"

I can't help that!

Just curiosity

That's reality

It kinda relaxes me and puts me to sleep. You know how some folks like the scent of a wood fire and how it makes them feel "cozy"? That's what diesel does for me. I think it's all those overnight FL-2-NC-and back again trips I slept thru as a child. So I can lay that one at my parents door!

Okay, I admit it... it never ends and the bus is never really "finished".

your bus is your home...
My bus is my home. It's not that I dislike houses... I love architecture... I just dislike the idea of one owning me.

Am I a busnut? No... I don't have ALL the symptoms.
