Sunshine the Schoolbus first came to us as a partially-transformed RV. She had been sitting under the redwoods in Northern California. She was graffiti covered, and not running when we got her. We got her to transport our education bird, Rad the Peacock, ( #RadthePeacock ) of our rescue ranch, Pixie Dust Ranch, to schools and Boys and Girls Clubs, etc. She also helped break the "Cubs Curse" when we brought our pygmy goat to Dodger Stadium while the Cubs played to appease the angry goat involved with that curse! Sunshine was embraced by a community as we painted her, loved her up, transformed her...but she met an early demise when she was struck from behind by a semi truck. No one was critically injured, and miraculously, the insurance company is letting us keep her...our new tiny home back up in the redwoods!
