I'd love a crown.
But they are quickly becoming the "splits" of the school bus world.
I like later model workhorses with mechanical engines. But there are GREAT buses of all makes and models out there. I personally want an older MCI MC5. Driving 800 miles home in my bus with all the coaches and semi's whizzing by wasn't AWFUL, but it made me a bit jealous! I get nearly 10 mpg so I can't complain about going a bit slower!

Nice!...your absolutely right, the VWs have gone way up, I had three splits, one 70s and a cpl Vamagons, never paid much for any of those, except an 82 diesel westy...6k ..but now I'm driving a Dodge, but she's been good ☺ so far. Can't wait to get a bus, and most likely will never be able to afford another split bus again either, can't justify the $ for them now...so you think a classic over a crown? Just don't want to buy a crown and have it break down and not be able to find parts...Thx DL
