Getting ready to paint, picked out X-O rust aluminum color, did you use primer before paint?

Hmm pic not loading for me but its the hood right?
We used Plasti-Dip for our paint job.
What is X-O?
We did not Prime it first. Plasti dip is nice if you want a fast paint job. you can get a sprayer kit and a couple gallons for an average price. It is not the most resilient paint but its not yellow anymore. just clean the bus first and lay it on thick
Beauty is we can rip it off and still have fresh yellow paint underneath.
To answer your question though. If you are using an oil based paint or car paint,
you need to clean it sand it down and prime it. Hopefully you are doing this all indoors. also depending on man power, allow like 9-10 hours for taping... its a b***.
sorry if you knew alot of this already
any other questions i will gladly answer
